The on-going rehabilitation of Second Eastleigh Avenue is set to be completed by end of October, 2012. The contractor has already done 80 per cent of the works with sections already completed. Drainage and culvert systems are about 90% complete while street lighting is on-going. Eastleigh 2nd Avenue is undertaken by Northern Construction at the sum of Kshs. 173million and the works started in 28th October, 2011.
